Here’s a brand new, extra magical hair how-to by Katie of Skunkboy. 1.Start with a dramatic side part. 2. Separate a small section of hair on the side. This will be the beginning of your braid. 3.Taking that section, separate it into two smaller sections. 4. Using a fishtail braid method, begin braiding. 5. Continue the french braid until you reach behind the ear. Then finish your braid all the way down using the regular fishtail method. 6. Gather hair into a side ponytail and add accessories like headbands, barrettes or flowers!

This collection of work titled Mirrored is actually the work of artistic duo Tim Maslen and Jennifer Mehra, aka Maslen & Mehra. The photographers and installation artists take the silhouettes of people and animals and present them as figurative mirrors placed across beautiful, expansive landscapes.
Mirrored is currently on display at Conny Dietzschold Gallery in Australia through April 30, 2012.

This chapter looks at the barren regions between the forested bands of the moderate climatic zones and the icy wastes of the poles. Barren land like this, where the cold weather rules, is also found in the high mountain regions of the earth in all zones, even the tropics. In Canada and Alaska, these bare landscapes are called ‘Barren Grounds’. In Greenland, Iceland, Finland and further eastwards along the northern shores of Siberia, they are known as ‘Tundra’.
